The Wonders of Caffeinated Bean Water
Well, I was going to write an amazing article about how being in the Appalachian mountains inspires me a lot when it comes to writing, but it turns out I got nothing done on this trip, so forget that.
Instead, I’m gonna talk about coffee. Yes, coffee. Black think juice. Caffeinated bean water. Magical brown elixir of knowledge. Coffee.
I’m the kind of person who feels proud when they drink coffee. It makes me feel so scholarly to sit down to do school with a nice steaming cup of coffee fresh from the pot. But does this wonder drink actually help me? I have no idea. It tastes good. It helps wake me up (especially when I’ve had three cups in two hours)
But does it inspire me to write scenes of wonder and daring adventure? Eh…maybe. Maybe not.
Point is, I need coffee to start my day or I’ll be a dead girl walking. When I don’t have my caffeinated bean water, I sulk. And nap. And don’t get much done.
I am currently sipping on a cubano, my new favorite coffee, and enjoying it immensely. (Though I still have a special place in my heart reserved for mochas and mochas alone)
Plus I have my super aesthetic coffee playlist, which every writer needs in my opinion.
I used to prefer cinnamon chai tea, but now it’s cubanos all the way. I aged, okay? And my tastes changed.
You may have noticed the coffee motifs around my website, which are there because obviously I love coffee. I even have my own special writer coffee mug.
But my point is, does coffee actually help my brain form great ideas that I can then spill onto paper? I'm not sure. Maybe, maybe not. I like to think it does. Anyway, I hope you all are able to appreciate the wonders of black think juice in all its glory. happy writing/reading/whatever the heck you might be doing today!

Huh.
