About Me
I AM NAOMI SHELDON, A HIGH SCHOOL JUNIOR. I LOVE TO WRITE NOVELS AND POETRY AND AM HOPING TO PUBLISH MY FIRST POETRY COLLECTION, TO DROWN IN A SEA OF STARS, IN THE COMING MONTHS. I LOVE TO READ, DRINK TEA, AND SNUGGLE WITH MY CAT, AS WELL AS DRAW OVERLY FAT FROGS THAT I ABSOLUTELY ADORE. ON A DARKER NOTE, I'VE STRUGGLED WITH CONTAMINATION OCD, AND IT HAS REALLY MADE MY LIFE COMPLICATED THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS. HOWEVER, I HAVE BEEN HEALING AND GROWING FROM THOSE HARD TIMES. I AM A CHRISTIAN, AND GOD HAS HELPED ME TREMENDOUSLY THROUGHOUT MY HEALING PROCESS, AND WHETHER YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN OR NOT, I HOPE MY POETRY CAN HELP PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO STRUGGLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES AND SHOW THEM THAT THEIR MIND DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A PRISON.
